Fiddes Best Button Polish
Fiddes Button Polish is manufactured from fine, unbleached Shellac flake. Rich and golden in appearance, Button Polish is traditionally used when a slightly warmer appearance is required. A firm favourite with Antique restorers and Cabinet Makers.

Fiddes Black Polish
Fiddes Black Polish is traditionally used to create a black or ebonised finish. Frequent, thin applications are recommended, usually on top of a well sealed surface. For maximum effect, little or no oil should be used when applying with a rubber. Produces a high gloss, black coating with an exceptional depth of colour and sheen.

Fiddes Friction Polish
Formulated to give a natural sheen on turned wood. Seals and finishes whilst the piece is still on the lathe. Friction polish is a blend of the finest transparent shellac and raw natural waxes. The ease of use and exceptional clarity of finish has proved very popular within the wood turning industry.

Fiddes Garnet Polish
Richer & darker in appearance than both Button, and Heavy French Polish, Fiddes Garnet Polish affords a distinctive depth of colour, typical of this variety of flake shellac. It provides an ideal base colour from which to build an authentic Jacobean finish, particularly on oak wood.

Fiddes Heavy French Polish
Popular for producing rich, warm tones, Heavy French Polish is a favourite amongst antique restorers and cabinet makers. Heavy French Polish is often used instead of a wood dye to recreate that amber, high gloss appearance so typical of many period antique finishes.

Fiddes Table Top Polish (Heat Resistant)
Fiddes Tabletop Polish is the most durable French Polish in the range, being manufactured from a mix of Shellac powder and Melamine. Transparent in appearance, Fiddes Tabletop Polish is easy to apply, combining a traditional Shellac finish with that extra degree of durability.

Fiddes Transparent Polish
Fiddes Transparent Polish has excellent self levelling properties, retaining a slight amber tint once applied. Transparent Polish can also be used as a sealer on denser hardwoods, or as a binder when mixed with Fiddes Spirit or Pigments Powders.
