Mirka Abranet Dust Free Sanding Strips
DUST FREE SANDING FROM MIRKA
Woodworking produces lots of dust that can contain hazardous particles and is a major health problem which we put up with every time we sand off any timber or any other type of surface.
Mirka has a clever solution to the problem,"Abranet" a sanding net with thousands of holes, used in conjunction with a dust extraction system or vaccume, provides phenomenal dust extraction. Because the dust is being continuously sucked away, sanding is virtually dust free. Sanding without disturbing dust particles also provides better control over the work, the final result will be a cleaner surface finish.
Since the abrasive maintains its aggressive properties over the entire surface, sanding becomes much more efficient. The sanding result will also be better, since it is always possible to see what is being sanded, better control is achieved over the work and over sanding is avoided.
The other great advantage is the Abranet sheets or discs have a much longer life span compared to traditional abrasives, some customer reporting up to six times longer and even longer where softer materials are sanded, therfore saving you money in the long term as well as a cleaner working environment.
The complete Abranet sanding system consists of a vacuum system, sanding machine and/or hand sanding block with hose, backing pad and abrasive strips or discs and your ready to go. If a vacuum system is already in place very little investment is required.

Klingspor PS22 (Discs and strips for high stock removal)
Klingspor PS22 Velcro backed paper disc for quick disc changing and PS22 PSA (sticky backed) paper discs for strong adhesion with ease of removal. The PS22 range, maroon coloured aluminum oxide, semi open coated resin bonded disc produces high stock removal on flat surfaces. Suitable for all woods and fillers.

Klingspor PS33 Velcro backed paper disc for quick disc changing and PS33 PSA (sticky backed) paper discs for strong adhesion with ease of removal. The PS33 range, grey coloured, semi open stearate coated resin bonded disc produces superior surface finishing on flat surfaces. Used for refinishing, preparation and de-nibbing. Suitable for all woods and fillers, particularly suitable for processing finish coatings.
Available in a range of grits from P150 to P360, supplied in boxes of 100 and packs of 10
