Osmo Decking oils are some of the best long lasting decking oils around with a choice of 8 wood colours plus clear (Teak Oil).

A two coat application on clean timber will preserve and protect your timber decking outlasting anything else on the market.

Apply either a first coat of coloured decking oil and a second coat of Osmo Anti-Slip Decking Oil (not suitable on 007 clear teak oil) or 2 x coats of coloured decking oil.

Also highly suitable for all exterior garden furniture, pergolas, cladding, sheds etc

Osmo decking oils are a deep penetrating low build sealer, and will not peel or flake (for the unfortunate who have tried the so called big brands from the B & Q's of this world will know to thier cost)

Note: We recommend prior to the application of decking oil on previously treated decking, the timbers are cleaned throughly with Osmo decking cleaner. For decking contaminated with green growth use Osmo Gard Clean.

After treatment apply Osmo End Grain Sealing Wax to all end grain.

Coverage - 24 sq mtr per litre per coat, (depending on porosity of the timber), min 2 coat application.

Colours Available - 004 Douglas Fir, 005 Bankirai, 007 Teak (clear), 009 Larch, 010 Thermowood, 013 Garapa, 014 Massaranduba, 016 Bankirai, 021 Bog Oak

It is highly advisable on all new decking timbers to give it a good scrub/clean first with white spirit and allow to dry before the application of decking stain/oil, this process will remove any contaminants on the surface. These contaminants attach to the surface during the manufacturing, storage, transportation and installation process and will cause your new applied coating to peel and flake if not removed.

A light sanding with 180 grit sand paper after cleaning will open up the grain of the timber and greatly help with better penetration of the coating.

On all new oily and exotic timbers allow 3-4 months exposure to the weather then clean as above before applying the decking oil.

Definitely needs 2 coats. First coat the wood just sucked it up. Second coat just protects it so well. You can see the rain just bounce off it.

Great value and amazingly quick turn around after order placed. Will be using each year when i repaint the decking.

First time I have used this decking oil I went for the grey which gives it a look of laminate.
Went on great but the proof will be who it looks in a year.
