Product Description
SoluGuard Fungicide Concentrate for Timber and Masonry is supplied in Aquapack™ water-soluble sachets that completely dissolve when immersed in water during the mixing and dilution of the product. Exposure to the concentrate is avoided and there are no used plastic bottles to dispose of.

Each pack of SoluGuard Fungicide Concentrate for Timber and Masonry contains five water-soluble sachets. This is enoughh to make:

  • 25 litres of fungicidal treatment at standard strength which will treat 75-100m² of timber masonry.
  • 12.5 litres of fungicidal treatment at double strength which will treat 37.5-50m² of timber masonry

Once diluted the product can be applied by brush, spray, dip or injection.

Product Formulation
SoluGuard Fungicide Concentrate for Timber and Masonry contains two powerful fungicides, 3-lodo-2-propynyl-butyl-carbamate (IPBC) and propiconazole. The two fungicides act synergistically to give a broad spectrum of activity against a wide range of wood-rotting fungi 9both wet rot and dry rot).

The optimised emulsion system promotes rapid absorption and deep penetration into timber and masonry surfaces.

Directions
  1. Dilution:

Standard Strength (0.11% IPBC, 0.34% Propiconazole): dilute one 67g sachet in 5 litres of water.
Double Strength (0.22% IPBC, 0.68% Propiconazole): dilute two 67g sachet in 5 litres of water.

Add 1 or 2 sachets (depending on required strength) of concentrate to 5 litres of clean water within a suitable container and shake. Allow to stand for 2-3 minutes and then shake vigorously. Once the sachet has ruptured (colour change in fluid) shake once more and allow to stand for a further 5 minutes before use to allow sachet to fully dissolve. Warm water accelerated the dissolving of the sachet.
  2. Application:

Brush and Spray: The diluted product can be applied by brush or spray at the rate of 1 litre of product per 3-4m² of timber/masonry surface or to refusal. Surfaces to be treated should be reasonably dry before treatment (although the emulsion system will penetrate even damp timber or masonry) and any paint, varnish or other surface coating should be removed.

Dip: Dip wood in diluted product for a minimum of 3 minutes.

Pack contains 5 x 67g sachets.
