This product has very low odour and was therefore nice to work with. It is extremely thin (like water) so fairly prone to dripping and running. Soaks into the wood well. I did have an issue with it though as a sticky light brown residue would build up on the brush. The first time I used it I thought it was due to the fact I had wiped down the sanded bare wood with white spirit to remove dust. So potentially this didn't mix well with the water based product (even though I let it dry off before starting). However, the next window I tried wiping down with just a damp cloth and the same thing happened. I don't know if it makes any difference to the product performance, but didn't affect the end result so it is probably not a big deal. I am sure I followed instructions as recommended. Only time will tell if it works however!
