Blanchon Hard Wax Oil, formulated with natural vegetable oils and waxes, Blanchon Hard Waxoil (HardWax Oil) protects wooden floors against everyday wear and tear, also suitable for all interior woodwork. It comes in 14 different wood colours and two clear, (natural = satin-matt) and ultra-matt

  • Outstanding aged effects when used in conjunction with Wood Ageing-Agents
  • You can mix the colours together to create your own range or simply apply two or three different coloured coats to create some great unique finishers all with the same ease of application. Fantastic product.

  • Hard Waxoil is a simple two coat system easy to apply on all commonly used woods.
  • (Note; use Blanchon Prim Oil for use on rare exotic woods as a primer prior to the application of hard waxoil, also for use as a primer in areas subject to higher levels of humidity, kitchens, bathrooms etc)
  • Hard Waxoil is easy to maintain with Blanchon Maintenance Oil & Universal Maintenance Oil for periodic maintenance and for daily/weekly cleaning use Blanchon Lagoon Cleaner or Blanchon Natural Soap.

Easy to use. Natural tint does not need to be buffed so is even easier.

Remember to take care with any cloths used to apply or buff the product. These need thorough rinsing and disposal or else they can self-ignite and cause a fire.

Beautiful results and easily a DIY job given time and preparation. Good phone advice from AGWoodcare. My floors were long overdue for this treatment and now I see the benefits. Fantastic. Note: watch out for saturation of the buffing cloth as you progress.

easy to use, went a long way ie a lot of square metre coverage per litre - further than other waxoils . It also dried pretty quickly - faster than other waxoils. We put it on with a small 20cm wide foam roller and did 3 coats. The only problem with it being coated is that the dogs now slip on it whereas when it was in-waxed they didn't

First time used this. Bought to enhance and protect my engineered oak flooring in the conservatory which we use all year round. Absolutely amazed with it. The floor now shows the deep tones and grains in it, just what I wanted. Gone from nice flooring to WOW flooring. WOULD RECOMMEND GREATLY and also now it's protected as well.

Ordered this product on the advice of a colleague who used to have a business restoring wooden floors. Very pleased with this product. Easy website to negotiate for ordering. Already had so many positive reviews. Came next day , put on that evening and looks fab. Good rich colour, east to apply and quick drying. Would recommend without any hesitation. Excellent product!!

This is really good stuff used it on my stairs and cupboards/shelving;
hard wearing and attractive; bit expensive but worth it.

I used a belt sander to clean and smooth my good quality dirty old floor, supplemented by a wood scraper to get into edges and corners. I cleaned dirt out of the many thin and few thicker gaps between the floorboards and then added sawdust filled Blanchon resin to refill these gaps. Despite a final sanding using 120 grade sandpaper, I used a wood scraper and wire-wool on the floor to get a really smooth finish before applying the natural wax oil. I applied the wax oil very easily with a good quality 2 inch brush, always along the grain, allowing it to dry for about 6 hours before walking on it. I smoothed the floor with wire wool again before applying another coat of wax oil, and since it was so easy to apply and I had enough left, I also applied a third coat. Four weeks later, the result is very good although the filled gaps are darker than the adjacent wood.
