Osmo UV Protection Oil Tints
Overview
Osmo UV Protection Oil Tints are tailored for vertical exterior joinery like windows, doors, and carports. Available in shades such as Osmo UV Protection Oil Light Oak 432, these natural oil-based stains enhance the wood's appearance and offer crucial UV protection. This helps significantly slow down the natural greying process of the wood while the added pigments rejuvenate and highlight the wood's inherent characteristics.
Application
Ease of application is a hallmark of Osmo UV Protection Oil Colours. Suitable as a top coat on previously treated wood or as a standalone application on bare timber, these tints ensure a smooth, even finish. They remain workable during application, allowing for a seamless and professional look. One litre covers an impressive 24 m² with 1 coat.
After Care
Maintaining the wood treated with Osmo UV Protection Oil Tints, such as Osmo UV Protection Oil 425 Oak and Osmo UV Protection Oil 429 Natural, is straightforward. These tints are designed to be water- and dirt-resistant; refreshing the surface is as simple as reapplying a coat—no sanding is needed. These tints bring out the natural beauty and grain of the wood while adding colour to revitalise tired timbers. Osmo UV Protection Oil 410 or 420 are recommended for a clear finish.
