Rustins

Made from pure shellac dissolved in industrial alcohol. Suitable for French Polishing wood where a more orange or golden tone is required.

A blend of pure solvents that will mix with any make of cellulose lacquer.

Rustin's finish reviver for restoring the gloss and removes minor surface defects such as fine surface scratches. A mixture of fine abrasives dispersed ia a special water based lubricating medium to produce a non flamable non-toxic cream.

A highly effective sealer for the prevention of seepage from knots in resinous woods especially pine.

Rustin's plastic coating thinners for the thinning of plastic coating lacquer and for cleaning application equipment after use. Available in 250ml and 500ml.

Rustin's scratch cover, will mask unsightly surface scratches on wooden furniture, manufactured in two shades- scratch cover dark for medium to dark woods and scratch cover light for light woods

Rustins Advanced Wood Preserver is a dual purpose fungicide insecticide. A low odour, non-flammable product based on micro-emulsion nanotechnology. The ultra-fine particle size allows deep penetration of the preserver to take place so the performance of the product is much greater than standard wood preservation products. It is water based quick drying preservative that can be applied to wet or dry timbers. Most preservative available are spirit based and will not provide adaquate penetration on damp timbers and all wood rotting fungi are caused by moisture ingress. Ideal for smooth or rough interior & exterior timber including fences, sheds, garden timber structures and more. For use against wood boring insects and wood rotting fungi within domestic, commercial, institutional and industrial premises. Rustins plastic floor coating is a two pack cold-cure floor lacquer with excellent adhesion and durability. Ideal for parquet and other wooden flooring One of the toughest floor coating available today. highly durable and  resistant to impact, abrasion and solvents. Enhances the natural colour of the wood and does not yellow or craze on ageing. Quick drying 1-11/2 hours @ 15 Dec C but can be as quick as 30 mins in hot weather. Oil based non-grain raising wood dye, for new or stripped wood, prior to finishing with any Rustins wood finishes or other suitably compatable finishes.

Rustin's clear quick-drying, non-yellowing, hard-wearing, low odour coating for wood and cork floors.

Designed to revive and give your furniture a new lease of life. Suitable for use on interior work, it contains wax and dries to a velvety flat matt finish. Very little preparation is required to receive the desired look as it can be painted over most previously coated items. If using over previously coated surface, test a small area for compatibility. Get the shabby chic look by painting your furniture with multiple coats then distressing it by lightly sanding down small areas using fine sandpaper or Rustins 0000 Steel Wool. Contains wax and does not finger mark. Clean brushes in water.

Removes weather stains and discolourations. Makes bare wood white or lighter in colour. Use to bleach natural timber to a lighter shade so it can then be stained to another wood shade, using Rustins Wood Dyes.
