Rustins first opened for business in 1924 with the first shop in London's Shoreditch district which sold wood finishing products to local residents and trades people.

Rustin's grew to be one of the best brands in the industry with focus on wood finishing products, specialty paints and decorating sundries. Their products sell throughout the UK to home DIY enthusiasts and professionals who want quality and innovative products.

Rustins was the first manufacturer of Danish Oil which remains a famous and popular product.

Rustins Advanced Wood Preserver is a dual purpose fungicide insecticide. A low odour, non-flammable product based on micro-emulsion nanotechnology. The ultra-fine particle size allows deep penetration of the preserver to take place so the performance of the product is much greater than standard wood preservation products. It is water based quick drying preservative that can be applied to wet or dry timbers. Most preservative available are spirit based and will not provide adaquate penetration on damp timbers and all wood rotting fungi are caused by moisture ingress. Ideal for smooth or rough interior & exterior timber including fences, sheds, garden timber structures and more. For use against wood boring insects and wood rotting fungi within domestic, commercial, institutional and industrial premises. Sheen LevelClear Gloss
Designed to revive and give your furniture a new lease of life. Suitable for use on interior work, it contains wax and dries to a velvety flat matt finish. Very little preparation is required to receive the desired look as it can be painted over most previously coated items. If using over previously coated surface, test a small area for compatibility. Get the shabby chic look by painting your furniture with multiple coats then distressing it by lightly sanding down small areas using fine sandpaper or Rustins 0000 Steel Wool. Contains wax and does not finger mark. Clean brushes in water.
