Briwax Professional Heating Iron
Wax Heating Irons - An essential tool for melting the hard wax, the basis for most repairs.
Which power type to choose?
Battery irons are ideal for those who will only be using their heating irons for shorter periods of time. They are cheaper to purchase than the gas irons, however they are more expensive to run. 2 Duracel batteries will last approximately 1 hours (if left permanently on).
The battery irons also have a smaller blade, which is suitable for more detailed and intricate work.
Gas irons are a bit more of an investment, however they do cost a lot less to run, approximately 20p per hour using butune gas which can be purchased at most supermarkets and convenience stores, for use with refillable cigarette lighters.
Battery powered iron requires 2 x AA batteries (not included)
Bas powered iron requires butane gas (iron supplied without gas)
Please note: heating irons may vary slightly from those shown in the images, they may not be branded 'briwax professional' but come from the same factory.
