Wood Lacquer in a Spray can! A pre-catalised clear lacquer in a handy to use 400ml aerosol can, offering the craftsman or DIY er the oppertunity to produce a professional spray finish (with out the need to invest in conventional spray equipment).

Easy to use, fast drying with excellent flow and sanding properties,

For all interior joinery and furnture with thousands of uses., For use on bare timber it is recommended to use a pre-catalysed basecoat/primer first (also available in a 400ml aerosol can and 5L) but can be used as a coat on coat system.

Available in sheen levels- matt 10%, Satin-Matt 30%, Satin 50% and Gloss 90%

I recently used the ISF Matt 10% aerosol lacquer on a cherry desk, having previously tried brush and roller application on other work-pieces, with not very good results, and not having my own spray equipment.
The ISF product gave excellent results, applied in multiple light passes and allowing the brief required drying time between applications. There were no issues with ponding, blobbing or stippling and the slight chalkiness that develops after multiple passes is easily removed with the light use of a pad or flour grade sandpaper.
The desk surface has stood up well to use but for a piece subjected to more wear and tear I'd probably go for a higher gloss version of the ISF product. As it is any abrasion that may show up on the desk will be easily removed by a few more passes with the spraycan.
An aerosol can is probably not the cheapest solution but if you haven't the volume or space for full spray kit it is a good practicable alternative.
