Blanchon Initial
Initial® is a high-build odourless one-component water-based PU varnish for wooden floors. It does not change the wood colour. It is suitable for lounges, bed rooms, dining rooms and stairs. It can be used on most commonly used wood species.
Blanchon Initial® technical performance and formulation meet the most stringent ecological criteria: it contains less than 2% VOC as per Directive 2004/42/CE, it complies with the European Ecolabel environmental requirements and it is both user - and environmentally-friendly.
Initial enhances the beauty of light wood floors and parquets, without changing their original colour
Based on the latest technology, initial has excellent build properties, it can be used in a three coat application or in two coats over Blanchon primers.
initial can be used for sealing suitably prepared wood floors in lounges, bedrooms, stairs etc.
If using a water based stain or Blanchon Wood Ageing Agent it must be sealed with Blanchon S O primer then 2 coats of Initial.
It is suitable for use on all types of wood commonly used for wood floors (please consult us for use on beech, walnut and rare woods).
Initial is available in clear satin, clear matt finish & clear ultra matt.
