Fiddes Liming Paste is a water based Liming Paste for creating a quick drying limed finish, designed to be over coated with a Lacquer, Varnish or Wax finish. Available in 1Kg

WOCA Softwood Lye is a water based unique product used for priming of unfinished or freshly sanded interior softwood such as floors, stairs, furniture, and panels. The priming prevents the wood from yellowing and enhances the natural grain of the wood producing a whiter finish. WOCA Softwood Lye may be used for all types of soft wood such as pine, spruce, and pitch-pine. Used on larch wood, an antique grey/brownish finish is created. Used on spruce the wood may assume a greenish colour which will disappear in the course of time. Note:- WOCA Softwood Lye should not be used on hardwoods. Coverage: 8-10 m2/litre After priming with Lye a top coat treatment with oil or soap is required. Pack size 2.5L

Woca Antique Oak Lye has been especially developed to produce an ammonia smoked appearance to oak wood. This product is a tannin reactive lye very user-friendly compared to ammonia but corrosive and should be handled with caution during application. For use on Oak only. Since the product reacts with the tannic acid in the oak, the colour after application may vary depending on the concentration of tannin in the wood. However, it creates a very unique colour and Vintage appearance. Requires a finish coat with oil, lacquer or soap. Coverage: 8-10 m2/litre Available in 2.5L

WOCA Driftwood Lye is a unique water based product, which gives the wood a weather-beaten patina. The product is primarily for oak wood. Achieves a unique 2 dimensional design. Finally, the surface must be treated with one of the WOCA oils. Water Based and totally VOC free Coverage: 8-10 m2/L Available: in White and Grey finish. Pack size: 2.5L

Fiddes NGR stain '(Non Grain Raising), methylated spirit based wood dye formulated to offer exceptional depth of colour on all interior wood surfaces. A clear extra thin wood oil finish for interior applications producing a satin-matt finish. For certain dense woods this product is recommended over thicker products such as the Polyx Oil. It is also used as a primer coat prior to the application of Polyx Oil

Blanchon Aquateinte is an odourless, 2-component, (Stain & Activator) water-based polyurethane wood stain. Designed to be over coated with any type of finishing/top coat product, spirit or water based, cellulose, 2 pack lacquers, oils etc, eliminates the possibility of any reaction between the stain and top coat. Available in in 12 colours, easy-to-apply formula and the depth of its colours make it ideal for large surface areas.

WOCA Wood Lye is used for priming of unfinished or newly sanded hard wood or soft wood interior woodwork i.e. floor, stairs, furniture and panels. The priming prevents the wood from yellowing and enhances the wood grain creating a white wash effect or gray wash effect. Available in White and Grey. Oil based non-grain raising wood dye, for new or stripped wood, prior to finishing with any Rustins wood finishes or other suitably compatable finishes.

Fine spirit based powder stains in a range of shades. Mix with shellac polish or methylated spirits to create a wood dye, or to alter the shade to an existing spirit stain.

A traditional floor wax from Fiddes. Easy to apply and quick drying, this liquid floor wax nourishes and protects all types of wooden floors.

Fiddes Table Top Polish is the most durable french polish in the range, manufactured from a mix of shellac and melamine. Transparent in appearance and easy to apply, it combines a traditional shellac finish with that extra degree of durability. Available in 1L and 5L

Fiddes Transparent Polish has excellent self levelling properties, retaining a slight amber tint once applied. Ideal for use on light coloured woods or when maintaining the existing colour of the wood is required. Transparent Polish can also be used as a sealer on denser hardwoods.

Osmo Polyx-Oil is available in a clear, satin-matt, semi-matt or matt finish for all wooden floors and interior joinery components. Chestnut Acrylic Sanding Seale r, a water based sanding sealer which dries quickly and sands easily. This product complies with EN71 regulations for use on toys. Available in 500ml

Chestnut Shellac Sanding Sealer , suitable for use on most timbers and on most interior applications including joinery and lathe work. Its use will give a higher build, increased gloss and a more hardwearing finish to your final coat. An excellent basecoat for friction and french polishes and waxes. Pack Size 500ml

Chestnut Food Safe Finish is a clear food grade oil for use with salad bowls, cheese boards and other items which come into contact with foodstuffs. It dries to a soft satin finish with a high degree of water resistance which will withstand wiping with a damp cloth. Available in 500ml

Chestnut Acrylic Gloss Lacquer which can be used either straight onto bare wood or over Chestnut Acrylic or Cellulose Sanding Sealers. The omission of the Sanding Sealer will require extra coats of lacquer to be applied. This is a quick drying and very hard wearing product. Available in gloss only Pack Size 500ml

Chestnut Friction Polish produces a high gloss finish ideal for polishing small items. It has a heavy concentration of shellac which gives a very high build; therefore it is not essential to apply a sealer before application, although a coat of Cellulose Sanding Sealer or Acrylic Sanding Sealer may be applied first if you prefer. Applied with the lathe running it dries almost instantly and builds to a deep, rich shine very quickly. Avoid using too much as this can cause ‘rings’ to appear on the surface. Friction Polish can be applied off the lathe with great success, using it like a French Polish and rubbing it into the surface. This does require a large amount of elbow grease (sadly not something we supply) but the end result is well worth the effort! Available in 500ml

Chestnut Melamine Lacquer , A quick drying, hard wearing clear lacquer with a melamine additive which provides improved heat and water resistance. Once dry, the lacquer chemically ‘cures’ achieving maximum durability after seven days. This formula does not contain harmful petroleum solvents such as toluene or xylene. Available in 500ml

Chestnut Spirit Thinner . A clear top quality thinners for use with Spirit Stain and other methylated spirit based products such as French Polish, Shellac Sanding Sealer etc Available in 500ml

Chestnut Burnishing Cream . A very mildly abrasive cleaner which smoothes and cleans finishes, reviving the lustre of previously polished surfaces and enhancing the gloss of newly applied lacquers and polishes. Especially suitable for use with Melamine Lacquer, Acrylic Gloss Lacquer, Friction Polish. Can also be used as a liquid sander on Cellulose Sanding Sealer before the application of wax or Friction Polish but not lacquers. Available in 500ml

Chestnut End Seal , a ready to use sealer which when dried forms a seal on non-kiln dried wood, thus slowing down the drying process and helping to prevent the wood from splitting. End Seal is an easy to use, safe alternative to using molten paraffin wax. On round blanks the edge of the circumference is normally coated, on square blanks the smaller ends are coated. End Seal can also be used when working on a large item which is being left for several days, to prevent it splitting whilst on the lathe. Available in 1L

Liberon Finishing Oil is a blend of high quality oils for use on all interior wood,. Produces a hard wearing and water resistant oil for surfaces that are in everyday use. Easy to apply and maintain, provides a satin to gloss finish. Ideal for use on work tops, kitchen tables and bathroom furniture also for turned woodwork and wooden toys. can also be applied to cork, stone and terracotta. Application by brush or cloth to a well prepared surface, allow oil to penetrate for 10 minutes then wipe of any excess and allow to dry. Junckers WB Primer (Formerly PreLak) is a single-pack, fast drying water-borne primer for use with Junckers water-based floor finishes on all types of internal timber floors. Use with Junckers MT500 Floor Lacquer and HT700 Floor Lacquer floor lacquers. Prelak provides a stable surface for the application of the top coat and also prevents the timber joints from gluing together (side bonding) which prevents natural movement of the timbers and can lead to damage.
