Fiddes range of Pine Water Stains are recommended for use on new or old pine furniture where an antique, aged appearance is preferred. Exceptionally easy to use, Fiddes Pine Water Stains are extensively used throughout the Antique Pine and Pine Reproduction markets to create a uniform colour prior to an application of Wax Polish, Varnish /Laquers or an Oil finish.

3 wood shades available; Medium Pine, Antique Pine and Dark Pine, see colour chart below. Shades can be lightened with the addition of water. Apply 1 coat- further coats will deepen the colour/shade

Coverage: 16 sq meters per litre.

Drying time :1 hour at room temperature.

Application: Cloth, Brush, Foam Applicators, Spray or Dip

I love this stain. Fiddes offer great products and their pine stains have been a firm favourite of mine for many years of lots of my little projects.

I like to use this stain as it gives an lovely antiquey appearance, especially the antique pine. The clue there is in the name i suppose. It's a very versatile product and the works well on most timbers I've tried it on

Great coverage. We used the medium pine on my staircase and had plenty left over for an old dining table and chairs.
The colour is great too, lots of depth
