With added UV filters for protection against fading from sunlight Teak Oil is suitable for interior and external hard oily woods.

Liberon Teak Oil is a blend of pure Tung oil and Linseed oil which nourishes and enhances the natural beauty of hard/exotic oily woods, including teak and iroko. Not suitable for oak. With added UV filters for protection against fading from sunlight. Teak Oil is suitable for interior and exterior use. Achieving the traditional cabinet maker's finish on hard woods, Teak Oil produces a hard wearing satin finish with added warmth and depth to new and old teak furniture.

A minimum of 3 coats is recommended and more on porous surfaces, allowing 24 hours to dry between coats

After 15 minutes use a lint free cloth or Mirka Mirlon Ultra Fine Pads to remove excess oil and burnish the surface between coats.

Easy to put on and a very good finish thanks to advice from the retailers website to use Mirka Mirlon Non Woven Abrasive Finishing Pads & Rolls for using between coats.

This product has transformed my rather neglected garden furniture. I did prepare the wood quite carefully before using the teak oil, 3 coats. Easy to apply. The finish is glossy which I like, it is standing up to the constant rain. Probably I should recoat every year to stop the furniture deteriorating.
