Fiddes Shellac Knotting A highly effective sealer for the prevention of seepage from knots in resinous woods especially pine.

An Oil based wood dye formulated to offer exceptional penetration and strong colour on all interior wood surfaces. Fiddes Naptha Stains are slower drying than conventional spirit based wood dyes, allowing for a greater degree of flexibility when colour matching or applying on to a large surface area.

Fiddes Pine Water Stains are recommended for use on new or old pine furniture where an antique, aged appearance is preferred. Used extensively throughout the Antique Pine and Pine Reproduction markets. Can also be used on all types of interior timbers. Fiddes Linseed Oil is the original oil polish reaching back many centuries in English furniture making. Also suitable for other internal uses such as musical instruments, fruit bowls, chopping boards etc. Raw Linseed Oil is a hard wearing oil giving a warm, mellow & durable finish. It is a slow drying oil and is also commonly used for adding to other oils to make unique blends. For interior and exterior use. Coverage - 20 -24 sq mtrs per litre per coat. Fiddes Black Polish is traditionally used to create a black or ebonised finish. Produces a high gloss, black coating with an exceptional depth of colour and sheen.

A popular french polish for producing rich, warm tones, Heavy French Polish is a favourite amongst antique restorers and cabinet makers, often used direct on the furniture without the need of a wood dye to recreate that amber, high gloss appearance so typical of many period antique finishes. *Please note packaging may vary

Methylated Spirits (Meths) used to thin spirit based stains, varnishes and paints, French Polishers favoured use of Methylated Spirits for mixing/thinning french polishes and all shellac based products, can also be used for removing wax from furniture and removing pant stripper residue after paint stripping, Cleans mirrors, glass and jewellery. It is a commonly used fuel in Meths burners on boats or outdoor heating and cooking. Available in 1L and 5L

Fiddes Exterior High Build Oil is a blend of natural oils & resins offering a transparent satin finish protective coating with excellent durability & weather resistance for all exterior joinery & woodwork. Fine spirit based powder stains in a range of shades. Mix with shellac polish or methylated spirits to create a wood dye, or to alter the shade to an existing spirit stain.

Fiddes Button Polish. Rich and golden in appearance, Button Polish is a traditional French Polish which produces a slightly warmer appearance, and is a firm favourite with antique restorers and cabinet makers.

A traditional floor wax from Fiddes. Easy to apply and quick drying, this liquid floor wax nourishes and protects all types of wooden floors.

Fiddes Supreme Wax Polish is a Toluene Free, low aromatic, quick drying furniture wax polish. Formulated to offer excellent results on bare or sealed wood. Fiddes Supreme Wax Polish contains a unique, environmentally friendly blend of waxes that naturally enhances the beauty of your wood. Recommended for use on furniture, doors, floors, cabinet work and panelling. Available in seven carefully selected shades, Light:- a clear wax which maintains the existing, natural colour of the wood. Stripped Pine:- Ideal for recently stripped or restored pine furniture and doors. Rugger Brown:- Ideal for Oak, Elm, Walnut or Pine for a slightly darker shade. Forest Brown:- for any type of wood when a slightly warmer tone is required. Antique Brown:- produces a light honey brown shade for all types of wood. Cherry:- Ideal for use on mahogany, rosewood or any timber for a rich warm finish. Jacobean:- for use on very dark antique furniture or any timber producing a dark tone. Fiddes Table Top Polish is the most durable french polish in the range, manufactured from a mix of shellac and melamine. Transparent in appearance and easy to apply, it combines a traditional shellac finish with that extra degree of durability. Available in 1L and 5L

Fiddes White Shellac Polish is manufactured from the bleached Shellac, for use on light woods such as Ash, Sycamore and Chestnut. It is traditionally used when the objective is to achieve a fine French Polished finish, whilst also maintaining the existing colour of the wood. A top quality high solid content product favoured by the traditional french polisher.

Fiddes Boiled Linseed Oil used similar to raw linseed oil, but has been modified with the addition of dryers and heat to radically improve drying times compared to raw linseed oil. A superior quality oil suitable for all types of wood, both interior and exterior. Application by brush removing any excess immediately with a lint free cloth. Finishing spirit is 90% alcohol with added shellac used for making polishes and for spiriting out process.

Fiddes Anti Silicone Wash is used to clean silicone contaminated wooden surfaces.

Fiddes Supreme Liming Wax produces a 'Limed' finish, normally associated with period oak furniture. Traditionally used on antiques but is also suitable for use on modern furniture and will enhance the natural beauty of wood while protecting it against dryness.
