Liberon Blonde De-waxed Shellac Flakes produce a light brown transparent french polish which is often used in antique restoration or bespoke production of light coloured woods and furniture.
A typical recipe for french polish is a mix of 250g of shellac flakes with 1L of methylated spirits, add more shellac flakes for a thicker polish. Mix in a jar with a lid and allow to dissolve for 24 hours.
