Overview

Liberon wax sticks offer a convenient solution for repairing cracks, splits, and small to medium holes in finished wood surfaces without needing to strip or sand. Made from a blend of high-quality waxes, Liberon wood filler sticks come in a range of inter-mixable wood colours, allowing for custom colour matching on various types of wood. With a quick-drying, non-shrink formula, Liberon wax sticks are ideal for touch-ups on finished furniture and other wooden articles, ensuring smooth, durable repairs.

Preparation

To prepare, select a shade of Liberon wax sticks that closely matches your wood finish. You may also mix shades for a custom match. Test the Liberon wax on a spare piece of wood or an inconspicuous area to ensure colour compatibility. Gather a plastic scraper or cloth for application, and have a soft cloth on hand to buff the surface afterwards.

Application

Start by scraping off a small amount of the Liberon wood filler. Soften the wax with your fingers, then press it firmly into the crack or hole using a plastic scraper or a suitable tool. Use the scraper to level the Liberon wax, ensuring it is flush with the surrounding wood. For final touches, gently buff the area with a cloth to remove any excess and blend the repair into the surrounding surface. Liberon wax sticks are formulated to dry quickly, making them ready for immediate use.

Aftercare

To keep your Liberon wood filler stick in good condition, store it in a cool, dry place. For the treated surface, regular gentle cleaning will help maintain the repair’s appearance. Always clean tools after use, removing as much of the Liberon wax as possible. Avoid disposing of any wax residues in sinks or sewers to prevent environmental impact. Additional applications may be added as needed for future touch-ups or to keep your furniture looking flawless.
