Antique Lye has been especially developed to produce anammonia smoked appearance to oak wood. This product is user-friendly but corrosive and should be handled with caution during application. Since the product reacts with the tannic acid in the oak, the colour may vary after application depending on the concentration of tannin in the wood, however, it creates a very unique colour and vintage appearance.

Coverage:- 8-10 m2/litr

Application:- Apply an even coat of the lye with a nylon brush along the grain. Leave lye primed wood to dry. De-nib standing fibres with a fine sanding polishing pad before applying the finsh coat.

Subsequently vacuum clean the floor before finishing the wood surface with oil, Lacquer or Natural Soap.
